Samantha Power served as the 28th United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 2013 to 2017, as well as a member of President Obama’s cabinet.  Called by Forbes “a powerful crusader for U.S foreign policy as well as human rights and democracy” when it named her one of the “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women,” Power has been recognized as a leading voice internationally for principled American engagement in the world.

She won the Pulitzer Prize for her book A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide.  Her most recent book, The Education of an Idealist: A Memoir, was a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller, and was selected as one of the best books of 2019 by the New York Times, Washington Post, Economist, NPR, TIME, Audible, and Christian Science Monitor.
